Pantone Color of the Year 2018

Inspiration for wedding and event design can be found everywhere. One popular category is color and we designers wait, with anticipation, annually to find out the Pantone Color of the Year! The color for this year is 18-3838 Ultra Violet. Pantone annually sends their "color authorities" to blanket the globe in search of colors in food, cars, cosmetics, clothes, and housewares. They reconvene, pool their findings, and analyse before they declare the Color of the Year. Thank You 2017

2017 was beyond anything that we ever could have imagined. This was our first year, fully operational, and it was filled with love and beautiful celebrations for several of our clients. As the photograph proofs continue to come in, I can’t help but relive the day with them, gushing over every memory and detail and that was created. Tips for Tipping Your Wedding Vendors and Service Providers

Last week one of my clients asked about proper etiquette on tipping her vendors and service providers because she realizes the hard work and efforts they contribute to make her wedding day a success and wants them to be compensated fairly for it. Here are a few rules of thumb: Vendors that provide a product (i.e. cake baker, caterer, florist) typically do not receive a tip, but vendors that provide a service (i.e. musician, limo drivers, bartenders) should be tipped.
